The fifth season of the series was aired on September 16, 2008. This season is supposed to have a total of twenty four episodes in it. But till date only eleven episodes have been aired. The fifth season began with Wilson, who resigns from the hospital after he suffers a personal tragedy. Before leaving he tells House that he is a very cruel and heartless person.

Though, House tries to explain things to him, but to no use. On the other hand, Thirteen, throughout the episode, is busy understanding this woman’s case history who has been brought to the hospital.
