Jennifer Morrison is an American actress, model and film producer, who was born to David L. Morrison and Judy Morrison. Both her parents were teachers and her father, who taught music even won the Illinois state teacher of the year award in March 2003. Jennifer is the eldest of the three children and has a younger sister Julia and a younger brother Daniel.
Jennifer grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois where she studied at the Prospect High School. There she was a cheerleader, sang in the school choir and also played clarinet in the marching and symphonic bands of the school. She continued her studies after high school at Loyola University in Chicago and graduated in 2000 with a major in Theatre and minor in English. She then attended the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and after completing her studies there, Jennifer moved to Los Angeles intending to pursue a career in film and television.
Jennifer worked as a child model and had been apart of the print advertisements for JC Penney and Montgomery Ward, besides appearing in the commercials for Rice Krispies and Mondo. At the age of 10or 11, she also appeared with Michael Jordan, on the cover of Sports Illustrated for Kids. In 2007, she was chosen as one of the Top 10 of TV's Sexiest Stars for TV Guide's Sexy Issue.
Jennifer became engaged to her co-star Jesse Spencer after he proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower on 23rd December 2006. The couple had been dating since July 2004. However, they called off their engagement in August 2007, just months before the two were speculated to marry. Jennifer is currently dating actor Amaury Nolasco. She is an avid fan of Chicago Cubs.
Jennifer appeared in a film for the first time when she was only 15 years old. The film was named Intersection and Jennifer played the role of Richard Gere and Sharon Stone’s daughter. Since then she has portrayed varied characters in numerous other movies including, Stir of Echoes, Design, Mall Cop, Surviving Christmas, Flourish, Star Trek, and many others. In addition she has also produced the movie Flourish.
Jennifer has been a part of numerous hit shows on television. She has appeared on shows like Touched by an Angel, Any Day Now, Dawson’s Creek, The Edge, The Murder of Princess Diana, The Super Hero Squad Show and House MD, etc.
Jennifer has also continued her modeling career. Besides having appeared the cover of TV Guide House co-stars, twice, Jennifer has also appeared in the photoshoots with magazines like In Style, Stuff, Entertainment Weekly and Premiere, to name a few. Most recently, Jennifer was seen on the cover of the July/August issue of Health magazine, in the 2009.
In 2009, Jennifer got nominated to an award for the first time ever when she was jointly nominated with her co-stars for the Screen Actors Guild Award under the category of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, for her role in House MD.

Allison is known to have married quite early in life and also to have been deeply affected by the death of her husband, who was a victim of thyroid cancer. After having a flirtatious relationship with Dr. House for some time, Allison started a fragile affair with Dr. Robert Chase.
